Pendiri Negara Islam Indonesia (NII) Crisis Center, Ken Setiawan, mengatakan bahwa penggalangan dana di anjungan tunai mandiri (ATM) yang mengatasnamakan yayasan adalah 100 persen sebagai bentuk penggalangan dana NII.
“Penggalangan dana NII dilakukan melalui berbagai cara, salah satunya di tempat-tempat umum, seperti ATM, halte bus, dan pom bensin, namun untuk di ATM-ATM saya jamin 100 persen untuk gerakan NII,” katanya, di Semarang, pada hari Sabtu (14/5/2011).
Usai mengisi seminar “Pencegahan Masuknya Ideologi Gerakan NII di Kalangan Mahasiswa,” yang diprakarsai Universitas Diponegoro Semarang, Ken mengatakan bahwa ATM-ATM merupakan sasaran utama gerakan NII dalam mengumpulkan pendanaan.
Ia menjelaskan alasan dijadikannya ATM-ATM sebagai sasaran penggalangan dana gerakan NII karena jumlah uang yang bisa didapatkan dari nasabah yang mengambil uang di ATM lebih banyak dibandingkan tempat-tempat umum lain.
“Sekarang lihat, misalnya seseorang mengambil uang di ATM sebanyak ratusan ribu rupiah, untuk mengeluarkan uang Rp5.000 hingga Rp10.000 tentu tidak akan terlalu keberatan. Ini lebih menguntungkan,” katanya.
Dalam berita yang dilansir Antara, Kn mengatakan bahwa gerakan NII memang mendirikan berbagai yayasan untuk mendukung penggalangan dananya, dan didaftarkan secara resmi, kemudian yayasan itu disalahgunakan dan diatasnamakan untuk menghimpun dana dari masyarakat. Berbagai yayasan penyokong NII itu tersebar di berbagai daerah, seperti Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Malang yang menyaru sebagai lembaga pendidikan, yayasan yatim piatu, dan sebagainya untuk mengelabui masyarakat.
“Mereka berdalih membantu fakir miskin, yatim piatu, padahal sebenarnya untuk kepentingan gerakan NII. Kami memiliki data yayasan itu dan berani, serta siap jika mereka mengadukan secara hukum,” tegasnya.
Ken menjelaskan visi pendirian negara Islam yang digemborkan gerakan NII itu sebenarnya bohong, karena tujuan mereka sebenarnya hanya pengumpulan dana, termasuk sampai Pondok Pesantren Al-Zaytun bisa megah seperti sekarang. Penggalangan dana gerakan NII mengatasnamakan yayasan itu memang menjadi momok bagi masyarakat yang memang ingin beramal karena pasti curiga kalau ada yang meminta sumbangan semacam itu berarti anggota gerakan NII.
“Namun, untuk penggalangan dana yang mengatasnamakan yayasan di ATM-ATM itu 100 persen gerakan NII, bahkan saat terjadi bencana tsunami dan letusan Gunung Merapi lalu mampu meraih pendapatan yang fantastis,” jelas Ken yakin.
